Abbreviations/Definitions
(possibly used in this text)
AF/LF:
acid free/lignin free
ASAP: as soon as possible
Contribution: the materials or completed project(s)
you have agreed to send the hostess as your share of the swap
DH : darling husband (DS = darling son, etc.)
Flaker: someone who doesn't fulfill their swap obligations
without a good reason and/or letting the hostess know.
FLASS: Floozie (as in paper floozie)
Addicted to Scrapbook Supplies
Floozie: Normally refers to a paper floozie, someone
who is always buying and stockpilling scrapbooking paper GOBUSTERS:
Stands for GOttaBUySTickERS. Need we say more?
Host(ess):
person who started the swap and who will coordinate the receipt, exchange
and sending of contributions out to the various participants.

Registration
Period: the start and end dates during which people
can email the hostess (or post to the group) that they wish to be included
in the swap.
Regular Member: A person who has posted to the RCS
Newgroup on a regular basis for 6 months. (I.e. we should know you,
not have to look you up on Google,
to remember who you are, LOL). To find out how long you've been posting,
click on the google
link, enter your name, click search, sort by date and then go to the
highest numbered page
SAHM: stay at home mom
SASE: self addressed stamped envelope
SS: Secret Santa (yearly RCS present exchange)
Swap
Submission Date: The date by which the participant's swap items
"MUST
REACH" the
host(ess).
Swap:
An exchange of products or completed layouts or projects. RCS members
have page exchanges, recipe page swaps, mini-composition book swaps
and even baggie swaps.
